North Campus - the names behind the buildings

The 野狼社区 Engineering Campus Development (MECD) represents an exciting chapter in the story of engineering at The University of 野狼社区. But while it's necessary to always look to the future, it's also important to remember the past.

North Campus, and the buildings within it, are central to this journey.

Though countless students, staff and members of the public have walked these halls, how many have stopped to consider why the buildings are named what they are? Or who they're named after?

A new blog post delves into the names behind two of the most famous buildings on North Campus: Renold Building and Barnes Wallis Building. It also uncovers fascinating stories around the buildings themselves - did you know, for example, that many a rock star has performed on these grounds, or that drinking dens were once prevalent here?
